China will invest 87.6 billion dollars in the construction of ultra-high voltage transmission
During the 2009 International Ultra-transmission High Voltage Technology Conference on May 21, the person of the State Grid Corporation of China found that the table of State will invest 600 million yuan (87.6 million) in the construction of the transmission of ultra-high voltage 2020.
The State Grid will invest 600 million yuan (87.6 billion dollars) in building the transmission of ultra-high voltage 2020, well beyond the original amounts of investment planned. The original plan is that the high voltage sticks will be basically completed by 2020 and the amounts of transmission of electricity will reach more 200 million kilowatts, accounting for 25% of the total capacity of the facility throughout the country. The largest corporations will invest 406 thousand total cinema billion yuan (59.3 billion USD) in the networks of ultra-high voltage, including 256 billion yuan to AC power and 150 billion Yuan of direct currency.
The project southeast of Shanxi-Nanyang-Jingmen, ultra-high voltage alternating first coin experiment demonstration project in China with more than two years of construction, will be officially completed and in operation on January 6, 2009, indicating that China has succeeded in mastering the core technologies of transmission of ultra-high voltage long distance, the installation of large capacity and low loss. The three higher voltage alternating ultra-high transmission of the currency and the transformation project Huainan to Shanghai, Shanghai Xinlinguole and northern Shaanxi, in Changsha construction began this year. Apart from these three projects, the State Network will also accelerate the construction of high voltage direct currency projects Xiangjiaba Jinping to Shanghai and southern Jiangsu.
