How do I clean the fan split air conditioning system Ciliera?
Is there a way to remove the front of the system, or do I have try to access it through the place where the air comes out? I have tried to do it that way but it is not complete and there are plenty of rust on the blades of the fan.
You have to remove the evaporator (inside the unit) of a mixed system in order to reach the fan. These units operate differently than a window unit and the fan is very long. If you have mold buildup that makes me think that no level drain installed or not installed with a pitch down to the water sits in the drain pan that never drains should be. These are two installation errors. You can call your installer to check the pitch and drainage appropriate. At this time the unit can be disassembled for cleaning.
