Video card is the main determinant of performance in PC games they play?
I realized that even though I'm running a Core 2 Quad Q9400 with 4 GB of DDR2 RAM games (newer games, 2009) that game is running slow in more detail. My video card, which is only a GeForce 9500GT 1 GB DDR2, it is not really that good, so I'm assuming that is the reason why I can not play the games and at the highest details? Are there other factors that affect gaming performance? Does the motherboard has nothing to do with it? Additional Detail, games I tried are the following details: Dawn of War 2 Modern Warfare 2 Left 4 Dead 2 Prototype Street Fighter 4 Ninja Blade even Red Alert 3 is slow on high details!
