Processor Board
How can you tell if your processor or your mother board is burnt out?
My computer fan and everthing turns on when I press power but I dont get anything on the screen. No bios or nothing. I know its not the hard drive because I put it on a different computer and it work. Its either the mother board or the processor. So how do I test that out? Thanks
Could be the system board, could be a part of the power supply quit working. Get a volt meter and check the power supply outputs. There should be +5 VDC, -5 VDC, +12 VDC and -12 VDC. I’ve only seen 2 bad CPU’s out of the thousand of computers I’ve repaired.
