I have a circuit I am using the red-white. I have a basis for connecting cables. How do I do?

WHITE (like red) is connected on one side of a double, single pole switch. The BLACK and RED are returning to the ceiling light / fan power. Cap the base is below the switch. "I can connect the white (common on socket) to a brass screw on the red side of the switch and tied BLACK the WHITE (like red) to the brass screw others to do the stopper base has a constant weight?

You mention two brass screws on the "cap" (A receptacle). There are also two silver screws, or is using the term "metal" to refer to the two screws. The switch has a hot (White hot that you mention) and switched hots, and you can connect to either red brass screw (which are connected together unless you remove the tab that binds). You need a neutral (white is really neutral) to connect to the silver screw. Do not spoil the polarity on the container. This will not be connected to the switch I do not know if you have such a cable available (it could only exist in the light and not the switch). Now, the description is confusing at best, and perhaps you should get an electrician. I think you can ask if you can connect two wires from the receptacle to change and get the power. If so, you have no idea how it works this and certainly should not try to do it yourself.
