What does a dedicated server mean when playing games online?
Specifically I'm playing NWN as line rental and wondered if having a dedicated server would be good for me. Sounds good, but I hate the buttons I'm sure my computers and Chinese, so I have a hard time in the menus.
Game servers can be of two types: 1. Listen Server – This is when you play the game and * * you are the server while a server is basically listening when the program runs on both the server and the client once. 2. Dedicated Server – The entire program is doing is running the game really can not play on a dedicated server unless you start the program again and connect to it as everyone would have to. In Never winter nights, you'd only want a dedicated server if you want the people can play on your server when you are not there. Should be running the same server, so you would be responsible to make sure that was running the Maps of law, law, etc. .. mods
