Does anyone have this problem with your Saturn?
I've had my Saturn for about 2 years. I bought a guy who kept it in the garage very good condition. However, for some reason I started to notice that light hair is jump out and the sun is killing silver right of it! I know Saturn that arent made of metal. They are basically a composite of plastic and other fibers. I wonder if this has happened to anyone like that. And if so, what have you done to fix it? Have you had a new paint job? And if so, does it still occur because the body of Saturn, or depends on the painting? Hey, I know Saturn are cheapy, but for the price I paid and 30 thousand miles you simply can not overcome. And it's so girly. I took it to the mechanics and even let me type test they havent had any problem with it except this fricking painting. Does anyone have any idea? And how bout some prices for a paint job? I really appreciate that … Thanks!
Saturn's bodies are not entirely of plastic. The hood, roof and trunk lid are steel. In the L-series rear quarter panels are also steel. The Sun will damage any car, if not properly maintained. If you do not regularly wax your car, eventually setting out clear coat and get worn. Once the paint is broken so, unfortunately the only way to fix it is to repaint the car. I do not think the fact that Saturn has plastic panels wear causes the paint worse. As I said, any car paint will peel if not treated. If you do paint the car, do not go cheapo places like MAAC. His painting will fall again after a couple of years. If you get a quality paint job and take care of car paint, which should last a long time.
