What is the dedicated server with respect to Team Fortress Classic?
When I log in to Steam, I can choose between all these different servers to play the game on. There is another area where you can download a file that says "Dedicated Server". THS is what I would need to get started my own game server for people in my area? What would I need to have to be able to do that?
The dedicated servers are running on a computer, but the person running them can not be in that game. You can make a regular LAN and a server and play with them, but the dedicated servers can not be done and participate, but dedicated servers are much more stable and slightly faster
