Why is my ajax / asp.net website so slow on the production server?
What is an ideal server for hosting ajax / applications asp.net web? The problem is that the server response is very slow compared to other sites, although the development server that runs fast. So Why the response is so slow that? Is there any requirement that is missing in the development server? thanks in advance
Well the ideal is a host does not guarantee you want "unlimited" bandwidth as it is very misleading. If you are hosting yourself, do you know what product to your dealer allowing hosting? Do you have a business account with them? Ajax does not require anything special from the server side that could make it run faster or slow. They can sometimes limit the number of requests, but it really is. I have run php / ajax related stuff http://www.GotHosting.org and the response has been quite smooth. Now they do not offer. Net hosting yet, but I recommend it for PHP / Perl / Ruby apps.
